Grant ProgramsThe goal of this program is to fund potential tourism projects that positively impact the City of Oxford's economy and community. In keeping with the underlying mission of the Oxford CVB which is established to promote Oxford as a tourism destination, this grant program is designed to support, foster and promote events or projects that generate visitors to Oxford. Eligible projects are those that target markets outside Lafayette County and/or generate hotel rooms in Oxford, Mississippi. There are 3 categories of eligible applicants for CVB Grants: (the guidelines for each category are listed below)
Category 1- Events, Festivals and other projects Category 2- Films made in Lafayette County Category 3- Conferences at the Oxford Conference Center
Grants are reviewed four times a year: September, December, March, and June and grants must be turned in by the second Wednesday of that month, in order to be reviewed at the board meeting on the third Wednesday.
