Mark your calendar for the Third Annual
Oxford's Town BBQ Throwdown!
September 25-26, 2009
Join us for a weekend of food, fun, and festivities as we welcome championship and amateur cookers to the grounds of the Oxford Conference Center on September 25-26, 2009. Teams will be competing for over $20,000 in cash and prizes. Proceeds from the event will benefit the United Way of Oxford and the Oxford Convention and Visitors Bureau.

Championship teams will compete in a Memphis Barbecue Network-sanctioned cook-off with the Grand Champion winning a paid spot in the 2010 MBN Invitational
Amateur teams will compete against each other in various "tailgating" categories.

Judges for the contest must have completed the judges training class provided by the Memphis Barbecue Network. If you are a trained or certified judge and would like to judge at our contest, please contact Sandra or Kyle Aylor at oxfordbbq@comcast.net or 901-531-8054 to be put on the mailing list.

Here's your chance to be the judge on who has the best barbeque! You can purchase a sampling of competitive BBQ and pick the best of the best - you will learn what trained judges look for in selecting championship pork. Every vote counts and you can help choose the winner of the People's Choice Contest!
Like Motorcycles? Join us for the new and improvedMotorcycle Rally. Plans are underway for the second Oxford Town's BBQ Throwdown Motorcycle Rally to be held Saturday, September 26th. Slice of the South Pizza Competition
